Bonjour,

My name is David Beauchaine. I live in Wisconsin. I discovered the Braque du Bourbonnais breed about one year ago. I was considering the Brittany because of its size and I like hunting with a pointing breed. But when I saw and read about the BdB, I knew this was the dog for me. I have not seen a BdB or hunted behind one yet. I might be ready this spring or next spring for a puppy. I have communicated with Ed, Jeremy and Shari and have appreciated the information.

Mon nom est David Beauchaine. J'habite en Wisconsin. J'ai découvert l'espèce de Bourbonnais de du de Braque d'une année il y a. Je considérais la Bretagne à cause de sa taille et j'aime chasser avec une espèce indiquant. Mais quand j'ai vu et ai lu du BdB, j'ai su que ceci était le chien pour moi. Je n'ai pas vu un BdB ou chassé derrière un pourtant. Je pourrais être prêt ce printemps ou ce printemps prochain pour un chiot. J'ai communiqué avec Ed, Jeremy et Shari et a apprécié l'information.

On a side note, my French ancestors were originally named Bourbeau. I have genealogical data that dates back to the 1500’s. I believe they lived in the Bourbon Region. About 300 years ago, my ancestor in Quebec became known as Bourbeau dit Beauchesne, and later the Bourbeau was dropped. My great grandfather immigrated to the U.S. and the name was changed to the current spelling.

]color=blue]Sur une note latérale, mes ancêtres français ont été nommés au début Bourbeau. J'ai des données généalogiques qui remonte aux 1500. Je crois qu'ils ont habité en la Région de Bourbon. Il y a 300 ans, mon ancêtre dans Québec est devenu connu comme Bourbeau dit Beauchesne, et plus tard le Bourbeau a été tombé. Mon arrière grand-père immigré aux Etats-Unis et le nom a été changé à l'orthographe de courant.
